In texts where writers feel an explanation is appropriate, the following phrasing is suggested: "...at the Dozentenfoyer (a lounge for members of the teaching staff)..." ("Members of" may be omitted.) 2) The room meant here is located at UZH. It is NOT the large Dozentenfoyer at ETH Zurich -- which also does not use an artificial translation for the cafeteria/restaurant. |
